Bariatric Advantage Zinc Chelate
Bariatric Advantage Non-Chewable Zinc Chelate tablets feature zinc as an amino acid chelate with arginine and glycine designed to be highly absorbable. Zinc deficiency is a high risk for patients who have had a biliopancreatic diversion/duodenal switch (BPD/DS)procedure, but it can also occur in Roux-En Y gastric bypass (RYGB/RNY) and vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG/SG) patients.
Zinc is especially important for immune and tissue health and is a critical nutrient for skin and cell integrity, along with reproduction and growth.*
